In 2008, we held a Food Drive at many or our November and December Pleasure Parties and we were able to collect 9 FULL bags of canned food for the 2ndHarvest.net food bank on Curtner Ave! Thanks to our hostesses generous party guests, we were able to donate 9 paper grocery bags stuffed full of soup, chili, peanut butter, oatmeal, pasta, tomatoe sauce and much much more thanks to the generosity of our Pleasure Party customers. 

Let's do it again this year! There are lots of local families that are still really hurting financially and some local kids who are hungry because their parents are out of work or had to take a big pay cut. Let's do our share to help in this small way. Host a Bliss Pleasure Party in November or early December and ask your friends to each bring 2 cans of food or two items from the Second Harvest list and we will give them a $10 credit towards their purchase that night.


From the 2nd Harvest Site - Most Needed Items:

Meals in a can (stew, chili, soup), tuna/canned meat, peanut butter, canned foods with pop-top lids, low sugar cereals, 100% fruit juices in single serving boxes, canned fruit packed in its own juice, and low salt canned vegetables. Please do not donate items packaged in glass or bulk quantities of rice, flour, or sugar.

When you book your party, we will ask if you want to do the Canned Food Drive Theme. It's totally up to your group and totally voluntary. (We realize you may have another theme going that night and it may not work for your party.)
